This week we return to a usual episode format:

This week Part 1’s and 2. i.e: Understanding Sikhism and The History of the Sikhs are combined.
We look at why Sikhs celebrate Diwali.

We welcome to the team, Bahadur Singh and Thank him for all his help.
In Part 3 – This week’s Shabad Translation features a Shabad sung by Alaap, entitled:
Sabhe Ghat Ram Bole

In our outside broadcast segment we talk with Bahadur Singh to learn about his sewa and inspiration.

The resource review segment includes an extract from a documentary that outlines a new memorial dedicated to those solider’s from all around the world who gave their lives during World war 1 and 2.

In Part 6 – The final part of the programme, Inspirations words and songs, we feature a universal applicable song by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes entitled, ‘Praying’.

    I was profoundly impressed by episide 31 of the broadcast , also being an old soldier I was touched by the fact that a chattri memorial existed in honour of sikh /indian soldiers who had died in the two world wars .Credit goes to the Sikh community for keeping their memory alive …who else but the Sikhs !
