Welcome to Episode 4</strong></span></p>
<p>Its now looking like we have a couple of weeks between each episode. We&#8217;ll try to make more time to get quality time in our studio.</p>
<p>This week we explore the history of the Sikhs at the time of Baba Banda Singh we also present the story of when a missionary from Rome came to visit India. At the time he met Guru Har Rai.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial">We also introduce a new section called meanings where we look explore general areas of Sikhism.</span></p>
<p><strong>Each episode is now structured into 5 parts:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Part 1:</strong> Meanings &#8211; this week we are joined by Kavleen Kaur and together we explore the 5 K&#8217;s.</p>
<p><strong>Part 2:</strong> Comprised of a Shabad with translations &#8211; thanks to Kavleen we translate the Shabad <em>Mel mere Pritma Jio</em> sung by Dya Singh from the CD Pr&#8217;Desa-The Lonely Soul &#8211; Translated from a fantastic resource called Sikhi-to-the-max.</p>
<p><strong>Part 3:</strong> We touch on a vital part of Sikh History &#8211; The story of Baba Banda Singh</p>
<p><strong>Part 4:</strong> A Sikh Story &#8211; The story is called A visitor from Rome &#8211; when a missionary met Guru Har Rai. From the book In the Guru&#8217;s Footsteps by G.S Sidhu, G.S Sivia and Kirpal Singh.</p>

Welcome to Episode 3 of Sikhwithin.</strong></span></p>
<p>Well, it looks like we&#8217;re currently releasing shows at an average of one every 2 weeks or fornightly as we would say in the UK! The good news is that we now have some virtual tools that should be able to help us develop shows faster. However, I&#8217;m keen to not compromise both on quality and reliable sources &#8211; in the context of saying humbly that we hope that you enjoy the quality and content of each show.</p>
<p>This week we continue to explore the history of the Sikhs from the 5th to the 10th Guru and present the story of Guru Nanak&#8217;s visit to Mecca showing us that God is everywhere. We also review the new CD by Balvinder Singh based in Australia and present more inspirational music.</p>
